My question is why all dogfights in 40k don't boil down to LASCANNONLASCANNONLASCANNON
Let's make an example.
Assuming that no missiles are avaliable or whatever reason i've gotten Within Visual Range, I press a button. The cogitator will now fire my lascannon whenever the weapon is on the enemy's craft.
Given that apparently Lascannon are incredibly powerful, I should then have no problem with killing fightercraft from unfair range.
